Why are all these female celebrities going to jail?

They are making us women look bad. They are acting so stupid and careless. Rather than being compassionate and smart they are driving under some influence or another. When did female celebrities go from young, smart, and sexy to young and dumb. Their mug shots show that when they're under the influence they appear hidious. Am I alone on this?

6. Well I agree with you! I don't know why though. I think the publicity is screwing up their lives. The magazine articles (and stuff like that) are getting to them - you know that girls are easy to get to - so they take it out on partying and drinking. I think that the paparazis need to stop being so in-their-faces. But thats what you get when your famous!!

12. You are right on! Theyre just spoiled brats who are used to getting their way all the time. Im glad they are going to jail, but honestly I think its a publicity stunt or something. They saw how much publicity Paris Hilton got so they decide to do go to jail too.
13. I don't think they are making women look bad. Since, they don't represent the majority of women. I think they are just people that if not for the luck of being a "pretty face" or born into wealth. They would be on the TV show Cops and fighting in their trailer park with their neighbors. I do think they are bad influences on young girls however.

22. I completely agree. They are the image that everyone depict of females, and when they go to jail and act like complete idiots, we all are taking the blame for it. They also get away with so much. My mom works for an airline and Lindsay Lohan was on her plane and she was underage drinking and throwing up in the bathroom. These girls obviously shouldnt have any fame, because all they are doing is making us look bad. Not all girls are like this and most of the celebs are like that. People like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, ect should not be famous! This is terrible and they should not be acting this way. 23. i agree with you gurl. correction, not all hollywood actresses, just 99% of them. hehe. . . i think they just act that way to get the attention of the media. anyway, dont be affected by their acts, besides gurls can also misbehave but we must put it in the right place. dont mind them, they're running their own lives...
24. maybe i'm getting older but it seems women are becoming more aggressive and men are actually all sweet and nice. A change from when i was 20, we were all wild and crazy party guys and the girls wanted love and marraige. women are trying to be bad, to be tough more and more, can't say i like the situation.
25. some women think they have to appear dumb to be attractive to guys. Its like they're saying 'hey, i'm not smart, don't be intimidated by me'. I think the whole 'it' girl group in hollywood; nicole, paris and lindsay are about to disperse as they are all about to fall. I wonder who will take their places?
26. Because they are idiots... They know that everyone is watching them so why do they even try to drive under the influence? If i were them id just rent a house for a week and get messed up there with a bunch of people... they have the money to do it..
27. Too much fame, too much peer pressure, too much industry pressure, too many paparazzis and not enough positive support behind them. In many cases, they also had weak parenting as well. Also, I believe that heard that teenage women tend to rebel louder than teenage men so that might play a part, too. It definitely does not look good for any women.
28. They are young, careless, irresponsible and risk takers. I would credit it mostly all to the fact they are young and have a lot of temptations (things going on) at their leisure, 10x10x10 fold.
29. I think they are seeing who's the bigger celebrity by seeing who can get away with more stuff. It's a celebrity pissing contest featuring cops. Lindsay Lohan is only getting a day in jail for running over someone's foot, drunkenly pursuing vehicles at over 100 mph on busy streets, hit and run, getting caught with cocaine, twice, and some other stuff that if any of us did we would be getting butt raped for the next year and a half by a 350 pound inmate named bubba while pretending to enjoy it so our skulls don't get smashed in with a metal toilet. I guess she wins...
